Service Description

How do we support children and families navigating the complexity of life and loss? This workshop introduces a comforting, easy-to-use framework that simplifies entering challenging conversations. Inspired by the What If… series of picture books, participants will meet Lumi the physical character navigating the world, and Lumity, the "unseen" inner experience of coexisting thoughts and feelings. Together, they illustrate the profound truth that there is far more to humanity than what is merely visible. Attendees will discover practical, straightforward strategies to nurture safe spaces where big emotions are normalized, explore how belonging never truly ends, and learn how to maintain vital relationships beyond physical separation. Designed to be accessible and gentle for any setting—whether a clinical practice, a school classroom, or a family living room—this workshop provides the simple tools needed to ensure that deep human connections are nurtured to evolve and thrive throughout life, rather than being broken by loss.
